Project Leader, Instructional System Design
Duties:
The Project Leader, Instructional System Design, will work with Vcom3D's technical and creative team to develop game-based instruction leveraging Vcom3D's highly interactive virtual human characters and tool suites in the domains of healthcare, cross-cultural competency, and adaptive leadership. This individual will participate in all phases of the ISD process, including requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE). Responsibilities will include proposal writing and project management, as well as design and development. The Project Leader will be the primary interface with customers and partnership organizations, and will support business development initiatives in assigned areas. Their work will emphasize developing innovative and exemplar instruction incorporating new technologies.
Required Experience:
- At least five years experience in all phases of Instructional System Design, including projects employing simulation, game-based training, and collaboration.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams developing highly interactive instructional systems.
- Experience scheduling, budgeting, and managing projects.
- Strong computer skills, including the use of at least one scripting language or authoring tool.
- Familiarity with SCORM or related reuse and interoperability standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct experimental research into usability and training effectiveness.
- Ability to work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to research and write content.
- Extensive experience utilizing the ADDIE model for instructional design.
- Well versed on Adult Learning Theory.
- Demonstrated knowledge of social media and its application to knowledge management and learning.
Desired Experience:
- Specific experience in developing instruction for at least one of these areas of interest: healthcare, cultural competency, or adaptive leadership.
- Medical simulation experience is especially desirable.
- Experience developing training for both military and commercial applications.

Mobile Software Developer
Duties:
Design and develop engaging mobile apps for education and training as part of a team of game designers, software developers, artists, and instructional system designers. These apps feature user interaction with virtual human characters in the domains of language, cross-cultural communication, and healthcare.
Required Experience:
- Shall have at least 3 years experience in the design and development of native mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.
- Shall have experience building and deploying apps with Xcode and Eclipse development environments.
- Shall have at least one published app on the Apple App Store or Android Market.
- Shall be proficient in programming in Objective-C and Java.
- Solid knowledge/understanding of the software development life cycle.
Desired Experience:
- Experience developing and deploying 3D applications with Unity.
- Knowledge of graphic, audio, and video formats, and experience integrating these into 2D or 3D applications.

Jr. Web Developer
Duties:
Design, setup and develop web and social media sites for simulation, training, and education customers. Develop software tools for the creation, access, and management of websites, web services, and online databases.
Required Experience:
- Shall have at least 2 years of experience in website design, development, integration, and testing for IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome.
- Shall have knowledge of varying browser support for different web technologies (HTML5, CSS3).
- Shall be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax web technologies Knowledge of graphic, audio, and video formats.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc).
Desired Experience:
- Experience Editing and compositing images, sound, and videos.

Serious Game Developer
Duties:
Design and develop engaging 3D games for training as part of a team of game designers, software developers, artists, and instructional system designers.
Design and implement user interface and game logic. Manage and assemble audio and visual assets in an integrated game development environment.
Required Experience:
- Shall have at least 3 years experience in the design and development of games, mobile applications, or interactive learning applications.
- Shall have experience with at least one major commercial game engine.
- Shall be proficient programming in Java, C#, and/or Objective-C.
- Knowledge of graphic, audio, video, and 3D modeling formats, and experience integrating these into 3D games.
- Shall have experience managing cost and scheduling.

Geographic Information System Specialist
Duties:
Interact with scientists, engineers, corporate and government clients and will help develop standard deliverable formats for various contracts based on client and internal specifications and industry best practices.
Experience:
- At least 2 years experience utilizing computer-based geographic information systems (GIS) to build computer mapping or visual databases. This practical experience shall include at least six month's experience in at least three of the following areas plus demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills:
- Cartography
- Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) processing
- ArcGIS-based modeling
- Database management
- Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) and/or Facility Management Standard for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (FMSFIE) requirements

Education:

Web Developer
Duties:
Webmaster for Vcom3D website. Research and evaluate web-based services and software packages.

Duties:
Lead simulation and training database integration, verification, and performance testing against program requirements. Develop Acceptance Test Procedures; Test & Verify Discrepancy Reports, as well as Coordinate with customers, IPT software developers, and Configuration Management & Quality Assurance engineers.
Required Experience:
a. Shall have 7 years experience in virtual environment database development, integration, and test, with a minimum of 5 years applied experience in virtual and distributed simulations.
b. Shall have experience with visual, sensor, digital map, and semi-automated force (SAF) database generation.
c. Shall have experience developing test procedures for environment databases and conducting acceptance testing with customers.
d. Shall have experience managing cost and schedule as well as technical aspects of database projects.
e. Shall have significant experience in synthetic natural environment terminology and concepts.
f. Shall have applied experience with multiple database generation and visual modeling toolsets.

Journeyman Geospatial Analyst
Duties:
Responsible for analyzing geographic information about the earth's surface and the objects found on it, as well as providing technical and analytical support to address issues such as environmental management, exploration and mining, land ownership and titles, urban and regional planning, utilities and asset management, and demographic marketing. Performs standard GIS studies.
May assist in conducting GIS tasks such as site analysis, natural resource management, parcel mapping or other GIS services offered. Works with related GIS software and programs to create and maintain databases and/or maps that can be combined with geographically referenced data. Meets with users to define data needs, project requirements/required outputs, or to develop applications. Compiles geographic data from a variety of sources included censuses, field observation, satellite imagery, aerial photographs, and existing maps. Analyzes spatial data for geographic statistics to incorporate into documents and reports.
Enters new map data through use of a digitizer or by direct input of coordinate information using the principles of cartography including coordinate systems, longitude, latitude, elevation, topography, and map scales. Directs adherence to established guidelines, procedures and policies. Works on problems of moderate scope. Interacts daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups. Interacts with outside customers. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information.
Experience:
a. Expert in ArcGIS, Falcon View, or other associated GIS tool suites such as SOCET GXP.
b. Photo/imagery interpretation, feature extraction using ArcGIS.
Education:
