Product support is provided to clients who have purchased a support plan (annual contract or support time). If you require support and have not purchased a plan, please visit our store to select a support plan that fits your needs.

However, all customers are entitled to free support for installation issues and software bugs. If you've encountered a problem with our software, please fill out a bug report by following this link. For best results, please use Internet Explorer.

Vcom3D, Inc. no longer provides support for its Reading Power, SigningAvatar® Friends, or Instant Immersion products. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Windows 7 Transcript Processing Issue

Some users of Windows 7 have reported that the software will hang during the processing of a transcript and audio file. Please follow these instructions to work around the issue:

  • • Go into "Control Panel" -> "Speech Recognition" -> "Text to Speech"
  • • Change the voice to a Microsoft voice, such as Microsoft Anna. If it is already set to that, open the drop-down and select it again anyway.
  • • Click OK to save the setting.
  • • When you start up Vcommunicator Studio or Sign Smith Studio, you should hear the TTS voice say "Vcommunicator" or "Sign Smith Studio", respectively.
  • • Click "Options" at the top of the screen, and go to "Voice..." Make sure this is also set to the same Microsoft voice.
